MP2 is a six-unit infill multiplex designed for a corner lot on Vancouver’s West Side, demonstrating how higher-density housing can be sensitively integrated into established residential neighbourhoods. The project utilizes its prominent corner condition to deliver four row homes and two townhouse units, each with three bedrooms, a street-oriented entrance, and access to private outdoor space.

Staggered massing and stepped upper levels reduce the perceived scale of the development while enhancing privacy for individual households. A high-performance building envelope and restrained material palette inspired by West Coast modernism contribute to a durable, energy-efficient design that is both contemporary and contextually responsive.

MP2 provides a thoughtful model for delivering family-oriented missing middle housing while balancing density, livability, and neighbourhood character.
